Military Technology

Technology has seeped in every field so how can military remain untouched. Technologies are used in the defense and wars since earlier times so that nation remains protected. But such technologies are seldom known to us as the government holds back a lot of data so that the information is not leaked and the military of the nation remains at competitively higher level than other nations.

There are military watches being used by the military personals and the technology advancements were observed since Second World War. The precision of the watches improved greatly according to the use. Over the years they have improved greatly in the display of the time up to the correction of seconds. They also have navigator feature so that the location can be easily judged.

Communication in the battlefield is of great importance. For communication the military uses equipments that work in the electromagnetic spectrum so that the enemy could not detect their presence. There are equipments that code and decode transmission and work on different frequencies so as to prevent the communication breakdown and enable the army men to timely deliver important information.

The biometric system is also used which help the military department to maintain the correct identity record of the persons. It not only helps in identifying the persons accurately by retinal scan or fingerprint but also link the person with its previously used activities.

Talking of military and thus the arms and ammunitions cannot be let behind. The arms are being improved day by day with Carbon 15 pistol in the rifle category. The aircraft is also improved in design and ability. There are thermobaric weapons or explosive fuel air bomb. These are with aerosol which is released on explosion and causes much more destruction than the traditional type of bombs. Massive Ordinance Air blast bomb is another addition to the bomb category which is capable of causing destruction to the enemy.

T90 technology which is a primitive one was given by the Russian army. Today it is a being upgraded with the addition of the laser range finders, electromagnetic pulse generator, laser warning receivers, radar jamming system. The technology is there in every aspect. The military binoculars and the military dress is no exception. The binocular are with different range and sizes, with infrared view so as to enable the night vision and are made of material that makes them durable in all type of environment.

The technology is thus in every aspect and is improving the ability of the military so that it work more efficiently in protecting the borders.
